Jennie Lawrence
Associate Pastor, Family Life Pastor, and Youth Pastor
Hey! Welcome to Trinity! I’m excited to connect with you. Here at Trinity you will find me all over the place! My heart beats for ministry. I have been serving in ministry for over 20 years. I am an ordained minister in the Church of God, Anderson. I have served in preschool, private schools, elementary and high school ministry, women’s ministry and state ministry. I find joy serving in every area of ministry across our state. I currently also serve as associate Pastor for Christian Education for WV Ministries. I am also a wife and mom of four kids and a dog mom of three. ;) I would absolutely love the chance to worship with you and your family and look forward to seeing you at Trinity!

Joel Lawrence
Hi, I’m Joel Lawrence, the youth pastor here at Trinity Church of God! I currently serve as an intern for the West Virginia Church of God Ministries’ Student Leadership Program and have been a member for the past five years. I recently graduated from high school and plan to attend MACU’s Online Ministry Program in Fall 2025. I would love to connect with all the middle school and high school students here at Trinity Youth!
Kylie Wahl
Hi! My name is Kylie, and I’m thrilled to be serving at Trinity as an intern! I absolutely love, love, love ministry and education. I work as a dance teacher at a faith-based studio and have been volunteering in ministry since 2021. I’ve been a part of many local teams and served as an intern for the West Virginia Church of God Ministries’ Student Leadership Program. I currently attend WVU Tech as a Business Management major and live with my loving parents, Michelle and Jason. Can’t wait to meet you!
David Carter
Howdy, howdy, everyone! My name is David, and I’m thankful for the opportunity to serve Trinity Church of God as it’s Accountant. I have always had a servant’s heart for my congregation and community. I have been fortunate to live and work in the Huntington, WV area for 50 years, performing accounting work for numerous businesses, nonprofit organizations, and congregations, as well as serving on national and international financial committees developing sound fiscal policies and procedures. In addition, I have also served Trinty as Music Director and Praise Team member. I am so blessed to be married to my wife Debby, three daughters, one son, one grandson, and three granddaughters.
